I love putting together simple homemade gift baskets for gifts. I like that you can personalize them perfectly for your recipient, and they are perfect for those times when you need just a little bit more than a single gift item. They also work great for family gifts!
This gift basket is one that I’ve given to friends and neighbors in past years, and it has been well received! It’s always nice to take a meal to your friends, but a meal like this means they can eat it whenever they are hungry and not just on the day you bring it over.

What to Put in a Pasta Gift Basket

You could always take it a step further and add a movie, puzzle, or game to your gift basket. Or you could keep it simple with the basics, like the above items.
The last time we gave this as a gift, we gave it as a wedding gift and included a very nice cutlery set with it as well. Anything that you think the family will enjoy or that goes along with the theme can be added. Get creative and have fun!
I want the focus to be on the items in the basket, so for the basket itself, I try not to spend so much money. I like to look around for them when I’m at thrift stores or rummage sales. Now and again, I pick one or two up with a coupon if I find some for a good deal that is cute and sturdy.
